Put your hiking boots in your suitcase if you have room for them. Within the city and close by, there are desert-themed natural landscapes that are accessible for hiking and mountain riding. Even though the summer months can be very hot, the months of October through April are generally nice, especially if you like being outside.
Savannah
Old southern houses, enormous moss-covered trees in attractive parks, a nice waterfront area with sweets shops and other unusual businesses in ancient buildings—Savannah is the classic tiny southern city. The people are nice, and the pace is leisurely.
It’s clear that Savannah is a city where people live and enjoy life, as opposed to a place that was just made for tourists. Since the city core is so tiny, you can easily walk anywhere. You can see this city in a single day, but you’ll want to stay a while.
Tybee Island and Hilton Head Island, both of which are close by and are easily accessible by vehicle in about an hour, also have some stunning beaches.
Boston
Boston, which located on the Eastern Seaboard, is a historic city. The well-known Freedom Trail makes visiting and getting around the city quite simple since it passes through some of the most well-known and historic locations.
Boston has a distinct appeal and is picturesquely located along the beachfront with ferries linking the distant suburbs. Modern skyscrapers coexist with historically significant structures, and Boston Common and other open public areas give the city a charming, small-town atmosphere. The city is also home to the renowned Boston Pops Orchestra and boasts a vibrant arts and culture scene.
The winters of Boston are renowned. Every now and again, nor’easters thunder onshore and drop massive amounts of snow. But it doesn’t stop these resilient locals from having a good time. Even if there are many activities to do in the winter, it’s still a fantastic season to travel.
