OCULUS QUEST 3 CONTROLLERS
Although Meta hasn’t officially released its new VR controllers, pictures posted by YouTuber Basti564 indicate an improvement is coming. The controllers, which were allegedly leaked at a Meta Facebook Workplace meeting, have a recognizable disc form and integrated infrared cameras that might eliminate the need for tracking bands.
The controls in Basti564’s video aren’t clearly real, and nothing in the video implies they’ll work with the Oculus Quest 3. In fact, the Oculus Quest Pro, a non-Quest gadget currently known as Project Cambria, is specifically mentioned in the movie. There is a good likelihood that the controls for both headsets will be the same, which might provide compatibility between the next VR products from Meta.
