8. Monopoly
We all grew up playing the game of Monopoly. However, did you realize that the game may be really expensive? A 1933 hand-drawn and painted original copy of the game manufactured by its author himself was auctioned off for $146,500.
Even other versions of the game can sell for a lot of money, but there may not be many of those around. Even more recent limited copies of the game may sell for hundreds on eBay, while other historical examples from the 1930s have sold at Sotheby’s for $4,000 to $6,000.
9. Garbage Pail Kids
In case you missed it, the 1980s were a big decade for collectible cards called the Garbage Pail Kids. You can tell how well-liked they were since several schools forbade them from participating. The cards might be worth hundreds of dollars if you still have any of them sitting around.
You might be able to sell the uncommon Adam Bomb card for roughly $4,000, as one man recently did on eBay, if you have one. Full sets, even the less outstanding ones, may sell for hundreds of dollars. Check out your neighborhood flea markets if you don’t already have any Garbage Pail Kids cards! You could even strike it rich.
10. Luke Skywalker
There are just 20 of these 1978 Luke Skywalker action figurines left, so you are really lucky if you have one. They are not only extremely rare but also quite expensive. One of these Star Wars miniatures brought nearly $25,000 in an auction in 2015.
But if you don’t have an original Luke, don’t give up. Different characters and translations from other nations can also be quite valuable. A Hungarian Boba Fett brought in $15,000, and a Canadian Boba Fett sold for $6,250.
11. Nintendo 64 Games
If you have the correct cartridges available, Nintendo 64 game cartridges may sell for a significant sum of money. It’s even nicer if they haven’t been opened yet. Mario Kart 64 is one of the games with the highest demand. One in the box in pristine condition may be purchased for $750.
Harvest Moon 64 is another incredibly profitable game that may be purchased for up to $900. Although the game was never widely distributed (because not many people were interested in farming games at the time), it has a devoted following, which raises the price of vintage copies.
12. 1938 Action Comics No. 1
If you own this comic book, you must use extreme caution. Less than 50 copies of the most costly comic book ever made were distributed worldwide. This comic book, which was in excellent condition, brought in a tidy sum of $3.2 million.
Because it is Superman’s very first appearance, the comic is extremely valuable. The identical comic book was purchased in 1938 at the ridiculously cheap price of only 10 cents. The comic book was offered for sale on eBay, with the opening bid set at $0.99.
